Hello!

Well this is me. A mother of two who until recently was a career minded, focused, primary school teacher juggling motherhood on a part time basis. I have decided (quite whimsically) to give it all up and give the seemingly perfect life of stay at home mother a go.

I have two young, energetic boys who are 3 and a half and 5. Some would say that I have missed the best of their childhood already; I prefer to believe that having both of my children beginning their own journeys into the world of school is the perfect time for me to begin life at home!

I fear that I must be crazy to give up a job that I love to be with my little darlings 24/7. For one, I will no doubt have to get to grips with cleaning (I have had a cleaner for years), learn house to cook, bake, sew, keep to a budget etc (all of which I can assure you I have no natural talent for what so ever) and most importantly learn how to deal with having time on my hands. Something that I have not had since before university.

Quite literally, I fear for my survival! 

So here goes nothing...

Week 1 starts with handing in my notice. Wish me luck :)
